Review & Description
Integrated Radeon HD 6380G GPU runs at 400 MHz and has 160 shader unitsProcessor supports memory up to DDR3-1333 and LV DDR3-1333.The AMD E2-3000M (Codename Llano) is a dual-core processor for entry level laptops. It is part of the Fusion family of APUs (=Accelerated Processing Units) and features an integrated Radeon HD 6380G graphics card. The processor core is clocked with 1.8 GHz base clock speed and is able to automatically overclock up to 2.4 GHz (TurboCore, depending on temperature and used cores). The AMD E2-3000M is based on the same silicon as the A-Series, but features slower clock rates and less Level 2 cache (e.g. compared to the A4-3300M). The AMD Radeon HD 6380G called version in the E2-3000M however offers only 160 cores at 400MHz. It has no dedicated memory and also is not able to use the integrated cache (in difference to the Intel HD 3000). Furthermore the APU also features an integrated UVD3 video processor to fully decode most used HD videos (like H.264, VC-1, MPEG4). Read more
